7I777 cricket markets: check the numbers before you stake
On days when Bangladesh, the BPL or an international series is on, many players open the lobby's cricket markets. Odds move live, and in that rush it is easy to put money on the wrong stake or the wrong market. This page explains the markets in general and what to check on the money side. It gives no tips or predictions.
What the common markets mean
- Match winner: which team wins the match.
- Toss: who wins the toss. Settles very quickly.
- Run line / total: whether runs go over or under a set line.
- Player performance: a player's runs or wickets, when the lobby opens it.
Which markets are open and how they settle is written on the lobby's market page. Check there for what happens if rain stops play or a match is abandoned.
Checklist before you confirm a bet
- Right match and right market? If there are several matches that day, check the team names.
- Look at the stake on the slip again. An extra zero is a very common mistake.
- Live odds can change ball by ball. On a slow network, check the new odds before you confirm.
- Make sure you are still inside today's budget.
What to keep after the bet
Screenshot the confirmed bet slip with the match, market, stake and odds visible. If you have a question about settlement after the match, take that screenshot and your bet history to the lobby's live chat. If anyone tries to sell you a "fixed match" or "sure tips", do not pay. Before you deposit, read the payment checklist. General BPL background is in the BPL guide.
The urge to deposit again after a loss is strongest while a match is live. So decide before the toss how much you will use for the whole match, and when that amount is gone, close the market and just watch the game.
