7I777 fake sites: spot the trap before you lose money

Fake pages appear under the name of every popular brand. They usually want one of two things: to steal your login details, or to get you to send money to a personal mobile wallet number. The second one does the most damage, because money sent through a mobile wallet is hard to get back. This page focuses on those money traps. Please note that this site is not official either. It is an unofficial guide.

The four most common traps

1. Fake cashier page

It looks like the lobby, but a "Deposit now" page opens without any login and shows a bKash or Nagad number. After you send money, nothing is credited, because there is no real account at all.

2. Personal numbers of an "agent" or "admin"

Someone in a Facebook group, on Telegram or on WhatsApp says they will make the deposit for you, raise your bonus or speed up your withdrawal. You only have to send money to their own number. This is the most common scam. Read more on the agent warning page.

3. "Unlock fee" or "tax"

Someone tells you your withdrawal is stuck and will be released if you pay a fee. On the real platform, any charge is shown inside the cashier. It never asks you to send money to a separate number.

4. Fake app

An APK downloaded from an unknown link can look like the real app but still read your password or SMS. Only get the app from the button inside the lobby. See the app page.

A ten-second check before you send money

1. Am I logged in, and can I see my username at the top?
2. Is the deposit number shown on the lobby's cashier screen, or did someone give it to me in a chat?
3. Does the domain in the address bar match my bookmark exactly?
4. Is someone rushing me, saying "send now or the offer ends"?
5. Is anyone asking for my password, OTP or wallet PIN?

Do not send money unless the answer to the first three is "yes" and the answer to the last two is "no".

Get used to checking the domain

• Addresses that add extra numbers, letters or dashes to the brand name.
• Addresses with words like "official", "bonus" or "free" attached.
• Short links, where you cannot see the real address before it opens.

If you have already sent money

1. Do not send any more money. "Pay a little more to get your refund" is the scam's next step.
2. In your wallet app, take a screenshot of the transaction ID, the receiver's number, the time and the amount.
3. Keep screenshots of the chat, the page address and the profile.
4. Tell the official helpline of your bKash, Nagad or Rocket as soon as possible.
5. If you gave away your password, log in to the real lobby, change it and check your transaction history.
6. If needed, file a complaint at your nearest police station or with the relevant authority.

Scammers pretending to be support

If you write "deposit not received" in a Facebook post or group, someone may message you soon after, saying they are from the support team. They often mention your transaction ID to look believable. Then they ask for your OTP, PIN or new money in the name of "verification" or "refund processing". Remember:

• You start contact with real support yourself, from the live chat inside the lobby.
• Do not post your transaction ID in public. Only share it in the lobby chat.
• You never need to send new money to get a refund.

Warn your family and friends

Scam victims are often people who have only just started using a mobile wallet. If someone you know is interested in online games, remind them of three things: not at all if they are under 18, never send money to a personal number, and never give an OTP or PIN to anyone.

When you see an "unbelievable offer"

Guaranteed wins, "fixed matches", "hacked slots" or "double your deposit back" always mean a scam. Nobody can guarantee a win in online games. The accounts commenting "I got paid" under these posts are often made by the scammers themselves. Before you trust anything, ask one question: is the money going through the cashier of my logged-in account? If the answer is "no", stay away.
